Philip Coppola has been evaluating defective construction and providing forensic evaluation of distressed buildings for over 30 years.  Most of these matters involve distress caused by expansive soils. 


 Over the years a significant amount of knowledge has been obtained regarding expansive soils, its effects on buildings and methods to mitigate its impact.  Philip and his associates took that knowledge and applied it to construction methods which prevent the distress from occurring.


Philip has over 30 years of experience in construction, evaluation and analysis of a multitude of building types.  He is a Certified Construction Inspector, a Certified Housing Inspector, a licensed general contractor, a member of the American Institute of Architects and provides expert testimony on construction related matters.
